For refugee women, rebuilding a career in a new country is a journey filled with challenges—language barriers, lack of recognition for prior qualifications, and limited access to professional networks. However, upskilling and tailored training programs can serve as a bridge to new opportunities, fostering social and economic inclusion while enhancing personal development.

The WOMEN UP project is leading the way in addressing these challenges by equipping refugee and migrant women with the skills needed for professional reconversion. This initiative recognises that employment is not just about financial independence but also about empowerment, self-confidence, and active participation in society.
