Craft2Success: Empowering Women Through Tradition, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship 

In a world rapidly shaped by technology and digital transformation, many traditional skills risk being left behind, along with the women who hold them. Craft2Success is an ambitious European initiative designed to change that. The project aims to empower vulnerable women engaged in artisan crafts by enhancing their digital and entrepreneurial skills, preserving traditional techniques, and fostering social inclusion and economic independence. 

Craftsmanship has long been a source of cultural identity, creativity, and economic opportunity, especially for women in rural or marginalized communities. However, access to markets, digital tools, and business training often remains out of reach. Craft2Success responds directly to this gap by offering a structured, inclusive approach that blends tradition with innovation. 

Why Craft2Success? 

The project brings together partners from across Europe to co-create learning resources, workshops, and digital tools that support women artisans not only in enhancing their craft but also in selling their products, branding their work, and building sustainable businesses. 

What Will Craft2Success Do? 

Craft2Success is structured around four key objectives: 

1. Upskilling in Digital Literacy and Innovation 
   Women will receive practical training in digital tools such as e-commerce platforms, social media promotion, and emerging technologies like 3D printing to modernize craft production. 

2. Entrepreneurship and Business Development 
   From business planning and pricing to branding and marketing, participants will gain essential knowledge to turn their craft into a viable enterprise. 

3. Social Inclusion and Confidence Building 
   By fostering leadership, self-confidence, and community support, the project helps women step into the economic spotlight—often for the first time. 

4. Preservation of Traditional Crafts 
   By combining heritage techniques with modern tools, Craft2Success ensures that cultural knowledge is not only preserved but also revitalized for the 21st-century market. 

Tangible Outcomes 

Craft2Success will produce several key outputs, including: 

• An e-tool directory featuring technologies that support craft production and promotion 

• A Craft Entrepreneurs Manual offering step-by-step guidance on building a profitable craft-based business
