ICTM dissemination workshops and local events

ICTM dissemination workshops and local events

From June 2024 until December 2024 Eurospeak has organised 10 information sessions for the ICTM project. The aim of each session was to inform members of the target group but also general audience about the ICTM project, its progress, the two trainings held in Turkey, in Bursa in March 2024 and in Spain, in Zaragosa in May 2024.

The 2 Newsletters were also promoted extensively: Newsletter 1 was launched in March 2024 and Newsletter 2 in May 2024. We have referred to them also in previously published articles. If you are interested, you can read them here and here. During these 10 information sessions, we managed to reach out to more than 100 persons, who were informed about the ICTM project. The information sessions held in November 2024 and in December 2024 invited participants to join the 3 ICTM workshops organised by Eurospeak for the ICTM project.

More concrete, the two first ICTM workshops were organised by Eurospeak in collaboration with the NCP at New Community Partnership’s premises in Dublin on the 11th of November 2024 and on the 10th of December 2024. The first workshop focused on “How to approach communicative strategies with young migrants” while the second one was on “Techniques for collecting feedback from young migrants”. A third and last workshop titled: “Bridging Cultures: Empowering Young Migrants” followed on the 17th of December 2024. That was hosted by Dublin City University in Dublin.

All the 3 workshops mentioned above, were interactive and engaged participants into pair activities and group work. These ICTM workshops managed to gather in total 30 participants (10 participant each). Eurospeak wants to thank both NCP and DCU for their warm hospitality and hosting of the workshops. Attendees were young and older migrants with various backgrounds in terms of education and profession. Apart from them, there were also some locals who attended the workshops. The success of these ICTM workshops lies on the positive feedback received by the participants: they all found these workshops interesting and useful!
