EcoFashion is an Erasmus+-funded project rooted in the pressing need to address environmental challenges posed by the textile and fashion industry while simultaneously cultivating responsible consumption and waste management practices among the younger generation. To achieve this, we have outlined three primary objectives, intricately linked to our identified priorities: environmental preservation, green skills development, and the transition to sustainable energy sources.
The project topics are relevant to:
- Green skills
- Environment and climate change
- Energy and resources
Objectives of EcoFashion
- Educating students about sustainable practices, waste reduction, and eco-design while fostering a culture of sustainability in schools and instilling eco-consciousness.
- Equipping students with the knowledge and enthusiasm to champion sustainable practices, position them as future leaders and innovators capable of driving eco-friendly solutions, and empower them to advocate for policies that promote sustainability.
- Encouraging students to extend their newfound eco-consciousness to their communities, teaching them about the economic benefits of sustainable practices, and creating a lasting impact on the environment through informed choices and advocacy.
