According to Statista youth unemployment has reached 13.9% in the EU, while in some countries is much higher. Such countries are Greece (36.8%), Spain (28.9%), and Portugal (19.9%). These results are quite frightening for the EU’s youth population. Besides the political and economic unstableness in the countries-members, the reasons for those results could also be the low level of skills and knowledge among youths, which leads to low competitiveness and obstacles in entering the labour market.
I’M NEW – The Future Of Neuromarketing project aims to provide youth workers and NEETs the qualitative educational resources, both theoretical and practical on the topic of digital, neuro and nano marketing, in order to develop their needed skills for emerging jobs in the current labour market, to overcome the raising youth unemployment.
I’M NEW’s project objectives are:
- To provide educational resources to support youth workers to train NEETs on the topic of innovation in marketing;
- To ensure the development of skills and competences of NEETs;
- To reduce the labour market mismatch, by training youth in a needed field (new fields of marketing);
- To encourage youth to continue developing their skills.
