We are delighted to announce our participation in the ECO-ERASMUS project (Project No: KA210-YOU-F8803D98), a transformative initiative aimed at fostering ecological awareness and sustainable practices among young people and youth workers.
Why ECO-ERASMUS?
Ecological awareness is not just a personal value—it’s a global necessity. Spreading this awareness from individuals to families, cities, societies, and nations is essential to addressing environmental challenges and combating climate change. Recognising the pivotal role of young people in driving social transformation, this project places them and youth workers at the forefront of the movement for a greener future.
The Goals of ECO-ERASMUS
The project is designed to:
- Promote responsible use of natural resources and encourage environmentally friendly practices.
- Tackle global environmental challenges, including climate change, through collaborative measures.
- Raise ecological awareness among young people, empowering them to act as advocates for sustainability within their communities and on digital platforms.

By equipping young people with the knowledge, tools, and inspiration to live and promote eco-conscious lifestyles, ECO-ERASMUS aims to create a ripple effect that extends to families, social circles, and beyond.
Activities and Objectives
ECO-ERASMUS will feature two key activities, each with specific objectives:
Let’s Transform Our World! (Ireland)
This activity focuses on developing skills and strategies for eco-friendly youth work, including:

- Building partnerships for greener initiatives across Europe.
Back to Nature (Lithuania)
This activity aims to deepen participants’ understanding of environmental issues through:
- Exploring local environmental policies and climate challenges.
- Learning innovative methods such as gamification and multimedia tools for engaging young people.
- Enhancing waste management awareness and language skills.
Project Duration
The ECO-ERASMUS project will run for 12 months, starting on 31st December 2023 and concluding on 30th December 2024.
Empowering Change Together
Generation Z is known for its fast-paced, tech-driven lifestyle, which often leads to unconscious consumption. Through ECO-ERASMUS, we aim to empower young people and youth workers to shift these habits, promoting eco-sustainable practices and inspiring change through social media and other platforms.
By participating in this project, we are joining hands with other organisations and institutions across Europe to build a greener, more sustainable future.
Stay tuned for updates on our activities and milestones in the ECO-ERASMUS project. Together, let’s transform our world!
