KIDLE Online Session with Teachers: Testing New Board Game

KIDLE Online Playing Event with Teachers, testing the Board Game developed by Eurospeak

On December 9th, 2024, educators and IT experts joined an engaging online session to explore and test the KIDLE Project’s educational board game. Facilitated by Eurospeak, this interactive event offered valuable insights into how the game supports young learners aged 4–8 through playful, culturally-rich experiences.

Teachers responded with enthusiasm, praising the game’s vibrant design, educational content, and the fun factor it brings to learning. The cultural and food-themed cards, combined with action tasks, created a dynamic environment that educators found not only effective but also highly engaging for children. Positive emotional responses, curiosity, joy, and inspiration, were evident throughout the online session.

While the game rules were largely clear, teachers offered constructive feedback on how to improve specific elements.

The potential for deeper engagement was clear. Teachers proposed adding QR codes for pronunciation, customizing cultural cards, and even expanding the game’s concept to suit adult players at a later stage. They recognized the game’s ability to promote teamwork, communication, and multicultural awareness, key goals of the KIDLE project.

Perhaps most exciting was the strong endorsement of the game’s value as both a classroom tool and a social activity. The online session underscored how educators can help shape and refine learning tools in creative, impactful ways.

As the KIDLE project continues to evolve, feedback from these passionate professionals will play a vital role in enhancing the game’s design, ensuring it remains fun, inclusive, and meaningful for every young player.
