READ’s consortium consists of 8 partners from 6 different countries:
- The coordinator is from the Municipality of Zarszyn in Poland.
- Smart idea from Slovenia.
- Areadne Lifelong Learning Centre from Greece.
- RIA from Bulgaria.
- Flexskill from Slovakia.
- Eurospeak Limited from Ireland.
- Regional Library Ruse from Bulgaria and
- Ornament from Poland.
READ aims to:
- Have a positive impact on teachers’ awareness regarding the importance of developing students’ emotional skills.
- Use Bibliotherapy in diversifying ways of teaching in the schools, providing new innovative curricula.
- Improve students’ social and emotional skills.
- Improve student’s critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Have a positive impact on students’ interest in and skills for reading and writing.
The collaborative efforts of our esteemed partners are presently focused on the meticulous development of the Good Practices Booklet, a pivotal milestone and the inaugural deliverable within the overarching framework of the project. To expound further, the dedicated team is actively engaged in a comprehensive evaluation process, meticulously scrutinizing the array of good practices gathered over the preceding month. Subsequently, an insightful analysis, intricately woven with the valuable comments gleaned from this thorough evaluation, is poised to ensue, fortifying the foundation of our collective endeavor.
The forthcoming convergence of our esteemed partners represents a momentous occasion, as they are set to convene in person for the very first time, creating an invaluable opportunity for meaningful interactions and collaborative engagement. This historic meeting is scheduled to take place in the picturesque locale of Ruse, Bulgaria, during the midpoint of February 2024, thereby adding a tangible dimension to the synergy that has thus far flourished through virtual communication channels. As the rendezvous approaches, anticipation mounts for the exchange of ideas, insights, and the forging of stronger interpersonal bonds among the participants.
